  1. Introduction

Welcome to WatchAuction.co.uk, the online platform for watch enthusiasts to buy and sell timepieces. By using our services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before participating in our watch auctions.

 

  1. Registration and Account

To participate in our watch auctions, you must register for an account on our website. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account information and password.

 

  1. Listing Watches

Sellers are responsible for providing accurate and detailed information about the watches they list for auction. This includes images, descriptions, and any relevant details. WatchAuction.co.uk reserves the right to reject or reject listings that do not meet our standards.

 

  1. Bidding

By placing a bid on a watch, you commit to purchasing that item at the bid amount if you have the winning bid when the auction concludes. Bids are binding contracts, and retracting a bid is not allowed.

 

  1. Auction Conclusion and Payment

The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item, provided that any reserve set by the seller has been met. The winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase by making the payment within the specified timeframe. We accept various payment methods, and details will be provided upon the conclusion of the auction.

 

  1. Property

Auctions listings will be submitted by either third parties or by GMG Watches. In the event a third party does not supply the item, the buyer will not be charged. GMG Watches may try and fulfil the order however we cannot guarantee this. 

 

  1. Fixed Fee

Both buyers and sellers are subject to a fixed fee of £195 for each successful transaction. This fee covers the operational costs of our platform and will be automatically taken from your provided card details upon registration.

 

  1. Delivery

Sellers are required to deliver or post their items within 48 hours of the auction ending. Deliveries can be made at either of our locations listed below;

  • London
  • Birmingham
  • Liverpool
  • Glasgow

 

In order to book an appointment at one of our drop off locations please speak to one of our agents.

Sellers will be charged an additional £25 per day for each day after the 48 hours surpasses.

 

  1. Authentication

All items upon delivery will be authenticated by one of our experienced technicians. Upon successful inspection, the watch will be made available for delivery to the buyer.

All watches will be supplied with authentication certificate and watch register report.

 

  1. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy, which is available on our website. Buyers and sellers should familiarise themselves with this policy to understand the conditions under which returns and refunds may be granted.

 

  1. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between buyers and sellers, WatchAuction.co.uk may provide mediation services to facilitate a resolution. However, ultimate responsibility for resolving disputes lies with the involved parties.

 

  1. Termination of Account

WatchAuction.co.uk reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts for any violation of our terms of business or for any other reason deemed necessary by our team.

 

  1. Modifications to Terms

These terms of business may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
